Model #CMS: The Best of Both Worlds
There is no doubt that hand sinks & utility sinks have their place in every commercial kitchen. Hand sinks promote sanitation & hygiene while utility sinks aid in keeping your premises clean & safe. But, what happens when you combine them both into one product? Say hello to IMC Model #CMS.
In this article, we’ll explain the features of Model #CMS & highlight its important role in your busy commercial kitchen. Let’s begin
So, What Exactly is CMS?
To put it simply, CMS is an innovative combination of IMC’s rugged wall & utility sinks. The unit is separated into two unique areas: the upper sink & the lower utility/pot sink. The upper sink is used for hand-washing & for small tools or accessories. The lower utility/pot sink is used to fill water for use throughout the facility as well as cleaning cans/containers, buckets or ware/utensil containers individually.
The unit is constructed from durable 16GA Type 300 series stainless steel. It is mainly designed for institutional, commercial & industrial applications. It is the perfect product where frequent cleaning tasks are the norm. The unit is fully welded, ground & polished to a brushed satin finish. Lastly, CMS features an attractive finish for installation in public areas, such as in “open design” establishments.
Every single CMS unit comes standard with faucets & a pot filler. Dimensions are as follows:
A. Bowl Size: 14″ x 10″ x 5½“
B. Utility Sink Size: 18″ x 18″ x 5″
C. Overall Size: 25″ x 20″ x 43″
Model #CMS is an IMC stock item, meaning it is ready to ship within 1-2 days.

What Are the Benefits?
Now that you know everything about Model #CMS, there are big advantages of having the unit installed in your facility.
The major advantage is that it will increase your cleaning productivity exponentially. Having a compact, dedicated hand & utility sink saves the trouble of having to traverse all around your commercial facility to clean small tools, wash hands, fill pots, etc. Every cleaning facet is here, all in one unit. This will no doubt save time & potential costs.
Another advantage is the small footprint. It is no secret that today’s commercial kitchens are jam packed, filled with many pieces of equipment such as worktables & cabinets. Space is truly a finite resource. Model #CMS was designed with tight spaces in mind. The slim form factor makes the product a true space saving unit.
Lastly, Model #CMS is 100% NSF approved, meaning it is the safest & most sanitary piece of equipment that you can have. In the new normal, this is paramount. Also, the stainless steel construction is resistant to rust & corrosion, so the product will stand up to long term day-in, day-out abuse.
At IMC/Teddy, we continue to manufacture hand/utility sinks to help your maintain facility safety & hygiene. With the recent outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), washing has become the most important task in any commercial kitchen. With Model #CMS, you can achieve both personal & facility hygiene.
