IMC Model #ESTP – Not Just Any Equipment Stand
Equipment stands are a fairly basic & common item for commercial kitchens. They are mainly designed to house special heavy equipment such as char broilers & griddles. But, what if this was taken to the next level? Meet IMC/Teddy Model #ESTP.
In this article, we will break down IMC’s unique equipment stand & give you some applications/considerations that are relevant to the product. Let’s begin.
Model #ESTP – An Industry Innovation
Introduced in early 2019, Model #ESTP combines the functionality of a rugged stainless steel table & a slide out scrap tray. The top perforated area allows crumbs to fall into a scrap tray. The scrap tray easily slides in & out for scrap clean up. A stainless steel hook is included on the side for hanging a counter brush when not in use.
ESTP is constructed of a type 300 series 16-gauge stainless steel top & an 18-gauge stainless steel undershelf. The undershelf is useful for storing your accessories & smaller appliances for later use. The top area contains ½” diameter holes & the pull out scrap tray is 12” x 20” x 2” deep.
The unit comes standard with 16-gauge adjustable bullet feet, but 5″ diameters swivel casters are an option to consider.

Where Can This Product Be Used?
The truth of the matter is that if you are working with machinery that produces a lot of excess crumbs or scrap, ESTP will be a life saver. The perforated top area of the stand will filter any mess you have into the scrap tray, then the tray can be cleaned out once service has completed.
One example of this is pizzerias where dough pressers & sheeters are common pieces of equipment. These items have one thing in common: they leave an enormous amount of fragments & powder behind after each use. Model #ESTP counters this by capturing all these crumbs into a single scrap tray for disposal.
The same can be said about bakeries. Bakeries must have commercial mixers, dividers & rounders in place, among other equipment. Once again, these items will leave behind a gigantic amount of powder & fragments that can become a real issue if it is left to accumulate. The scrap tray of Model #ESTP can really make all the difference in cleaning up.
Why Does It Matter?
Cleanliness & customer perception is everything. Having tons of residue in the work area is not a good look, especially if your kitchen faces out into the dining room where patrons can sneak a peek. The main concept of ESTP is to function as a home base for your heavy equipment & contain all of the excess mess for a much cleaner environment.
Model #ESTP is not just a standard equipment stand. It’s the next evolution of the equipment stand. The perforated top & scrap tray are essential for keeping your work area clean & tidy. For more information on Model #ESTP, click here.
