We’ve spoken before about IMC mop sinks & their important janitorial role in any commercial facility. But, what if you need something on a larger scale with added functionality? This is where mop sink cabinets come into play.
Essentially, mop sink cabinets are the perfect substitute to a janitor’s closet. Mop sink cabinets are designed to keep your mop supplies organized, neat & out of the way. These cabinets feature a space where mop buckets can be easily emptied, cleaned & refilled as needed. A shelf is provided for storage space for cleaning supplies. Lastly, a ramp can be supplied as an easy way to roll the mop bucket in for storing.
Which Mop Sink Cabinet Will You Choose?
All IMC mop sink cabinets are constructed from 18GA Type 300 Series Stainless Steel with Double Pan Door(s). Let’s look at each IMC mop sink cabinet closely:
CMSC – Combination Clean & Soiled Utility Cabinet
This is the 1st cabinet that IMC designed. The CMSC is suitable for applications where you need sanitary separation within a compact space. Therefore, the cabinet is divided into a “soiled” side & a “clean” side. The main features are as follows:
- Overall Dimensions: 46½”W x 24”D x 84”H
- (1) One 23½”L x 19″W x 5”D Soiled Sink Equipped with a 4” Waste Outlet
- (1) One 18½”L x 19″W x 5”D Filler/Soak Sink Equipped with a 4” Waste Outlet
- (2) Two 20GA S/S Hinged Doors Fully Enclose Each of the Soiled & Clean Sides So There is No Cross Contamination
- Full Height Partition Separates the Soiled & Clean Sides
- Upper Section of the Cabinet Has (1) One Fixed Shelf Notched for Mop Handles
- Utility Spray Hose & (2) Two Mop Holders Included
- Fill/Soak Side Is Supplied with a Pot Filler Faucet
This is the 2nd cabinet that IMC designed. The double cabinet was too large for some facilities so a single cabinet option was needed. The standard features are as follows:
- Overall Dimensions: 30”W x 24”D x 84”H
- (1) One 27″L x 20″W x 5”D Sink Equipped with a 4” Waste Outlet
- (1) One 20GA S/S Hinged Door to Fully Enclose the Cabinet
- Upper Section of the Cabinet Has (1) One Fixed Shelf Notched for Mop Handles
- Utility Spray Hose with Brush & (2) Two Mop Holders Included
CMSC-R – Combination Mop & Storage Cabinet
This is the 3rd cabinet that IMC designed. Instead of (2) sinks, consultants & dealers needed more storage & an easy way to store the mop bucket. If you need a mop sink cabinet with additional storage & versatility, the CMSC-R is the perfection solution for you. The main features are as follows:
- Overall Dimensions: 46½”W x 30”D x 84”H
- (1) One 23″L x 26″W x 5”D Sink Equipped with a 4” Waste Outlet
- (1) One 20GA S/S Hinged Door on the Sink Side
- Full Height Partition Separates the Sink from the Cabinet Space
- Upper Section of the Cabinet Has (1) One Fixed Shelf Notched for Mop Handles
- Utility Spray Hose & (2) Two Mop Holders Included
- (2) Two Fixed Shelves & a Ramp to Easily Roll the Mop Bucket in for Storage

Mop sink cabinets are some of the most customizable pieces of equipment in the IMC catalog. Everything from the size of the units to the number of mop holders can be configured. Side louvers for air flow & door locks can also be equipped to your cabinet. Security packages are also available for correctional applications.
