What’s the Scoop with IMC’s Ice Cream Counter?

Ice cream is a one of the most popular dessert treats in the world. The refreshing chill & the tasty flavors – what’s not to love? However, no one wants melted ice cream. You’ll need the right equipment to keep your ice cream frozen & ready to serve. This is where IMC’s ice cream counter comes into play.

In this article, we’ll take a look at IMC’s ice cream counter in detail & give you some ways that the counter can be utilized for your operation. Let’s start.

Model #SICC – A Complete Ice Cream Storage Solution

Model #SICC is meant to last. That is why the top is constructed of rugged 16-gauge type 300 series stainless steel with a 14-gauge stainless steel frame. The apron is integral & constructed of 18-gauge stainless steel.

The entire unit is designed to keep your ice cream at the optimal temperature. Therefore, the unit is designed to maintain a 10° F via refrigeration. Furthermore, the entire cabinet is fully insulated & includes removable insulated covers with lift type handles. A 1″ OD drain is standard in the cabinet body. A removable self leveling dispenser is included with the unit as well. 5′ long cord & plug are included with the unit.

Let’s break it down below:

So, What Is It Used for Exactly?

There are a few ways to use the ice cream counter to its fullest potential. Let’s look below:

1. Ice Cream Storage – Ice cream must be stored at 10°F or below. Model #SICC can handle this with no issues. If you utilize any counter with no refrigeration or malfunctioning refrigeration, you will have melted ice cream, unhappy customers & a potential waste of product.

2. Dipping – Model #SICC can be used actively to serve ice cream, thanks to the insulated covers on the cabinet body. Just lift open the cover & dip down into the cabinet to scoop out a desired flavor. If you are serving an event, the casters allow you to wheel the counter in & out of the area with ease.

3. Merchandising – Model #SICC can also be used to store popsicles, ice cream sandwiches & other frozen snacks in grocery stores, delis or other stores where frozen items are sold. Set yours up in front of the store so that customers can quickly order, pay & receive their food.

IMC/Teddy understands that keeping your frozen ice cream treats at the right temperature is a key for success. Model #SICC will be your companion in achieving this.  For a closer look at IMC’s ice cream counter, click here.
