Everything You Need to Know About IMC Hot Food Counters
Last week we spoke about cold food counters & their vital role in keeping foods chilled & safe for your buffet or catering operation. This week we’ll look at its counterpart: the hot food counter. IMC hot food counters are simply designed to keep foods hot at your desired temperature levels.
Warming or keeping food which has been freshly cooked at serving temperature needs careful food safety handling & the right equipment. IMC hot food counters are just the right fit for the job.
All IMC hot food counters have heated drop-in pans, which can be used dry or wet. Fluorescent or heated lamps may be equipped to hold the appropriate temperatures. The overall goal here is to maintain heat & keep your food in fresh condition.
In this article, we’ll break down IMC’s 2 main offerings in the hot food counter category & give you a guide on the options currently available. Let’s start.

The unit can be fitted with 2-5 wells, depending on your application. The product is ideal for high volume buffet serving operations where constant replacement of the wells is a common occurrence.
