We know lead times in the foodservice industry are crucial. Projects have strict timelines & a few delays can cause significant downtime (& massive headaches).

From day one, IMC has strived to meet your deadline on or before your required date. With that said, we’re here to give you the latest information on IMC’s lead times & how we can help you. What does this mean exactly? We’ll break it down. 

IMC’s Lead Time Philosophy

We know having a project deadline can be stressful. What’s even more stressful, however, is the last-minute projects that need a quick turnaround. IMC is here to alleviate the stress & come through in the clutch.

We realize the summer rush is in effect, so IMC has geared up & is proud to announce that we have a current lead time of 4-6 weeks for custom products. Of course, we can accommodate most requests if need be. For stock items, the lead times remain 1-2 days.

It should be noted that while other manufacturers are constantly increasing lead times, IMC is doing quite the opposite.

But How?

So, how have we’ve been able to keep these lead times? It’s our team, first & foremost. Above is a comprehensive tour of each manufacturing department at IMC/Teddy. As you can see from the video, IMC is hitting on all cylinders when it comes to producing the highest quality stainless steel products in the industry. The team’s talent & dedication (both in the factory & the office) are the chief reason.

Apart from this, IMC only uses 100% American stainless steel (Type 304 to be exact) so there is no importing of raw materials which can lead to delays in manufacturing. Therefore, IMC prices are holding firm through 1^st Quarter 2026.

What About the Future?

IMC is constantly working on innovative solutions for reducing lead times even further. We are currently implementing a robust inventory management system, which will allow us to keep better track of quantity on hand. We are also constantly rearranging & tidying up our facility to allow for better workflow.
