IMC/Teddy Mid-Year Report – 2025
As the saying goes, “Time flies when you’re having fun.”
With that said, here we are again reporting a mid-year update! Allow us to reveal what we’ve been up to the past six months & what you can expect for the rest of 2025. We’re excited about sharing these company developments & hope you’ll come along for the rest of the ride ahead. Let's review.
1. NAFEM Recap
The NAFEM Show 2025 is in the books & it was certainly the highlight of the year thus far. After 2 years of planning, we were proud to host our most robust booth yet. The positive reception we received was very humbling & the level of interest was sustained throughout the show.
The NAFEM Show is the perfect opportunity for you to become familiar with IMC & our products (both new & current). In fact, we introduced several new products (more on these later) & conducted several helpful learning sessions right in our booth over the 3-day show. Thank you again to all of those who continue to support IMC & we welcome those newcomers to the IMC family.

2. New Products Unleashed
Over the last 6 months, we've introduced four new products & one product redesign into our ever-growing lineup.
The first new product is Model #HDCI HydroCool Insert. Introduced at The NAFEM Show, HDCI is IMC's next evolution in our floor trough series with a primary focus on water temperature control. HDCI is primarily used under a tilt skillet or kettle or under any pieces of equipment where hot water discharge is present. HDCI is available now & can be outfitted into most IMC floor troughs – check out the complete breakdown here.
The second product introduced is Model #CMSC-RF Combo Mop & Storage Cabinet w/ Fan Assembly. CMSC-RF combines the functionality of a mop sink cabinet & adds a new fan assembly feature. The fan assembly is designed to combat odors & stop mold growth that may occur within the cabinet. CMSC-RF is also available now – check out the full story here.
Next up is Model #PFT Portable Floor Trough. As we all know, floor troughs are stationary – until now. PFT takes drainage on the go with its built-in casters & pull handle. PFT is best paired with kettles or any equipment where liquid drainage occurs. Check out the overview here.
Lastly, Model #LSB Locker & Shoe Bench was introduced as a companion piece for our Chef’s Cabinet & Chef’s Bench. LSB combines personal storage with the convenience of a bench for short rests. Useful for staff, LSB is a secure way of holding your belongings during or after service hours. Check out the story here.
We also completed an overhaul of a tray & basket dispenser – Model #140-516. Once known as one of the oldest products in our catalog, 140-516 received a much-needed update in the form of an updated lift mechanism, refined basket holder & several body enhancements to increase durability. 3. Let’s Talk Tariffs
Yes, tariffs have been the talk of the town for much of the year. With the tariff landscape shifting seemingly every day, it can create some uncertainty in the manufacturing sector. IMC acknowledges this, but we remain true in our stance.
IMC implemented a 3% price increase in April & we have no plans to increase prices for the rest of 2025. This is because IMC is a 100% USA manufacturer & we do not import raw materials (now or ever). On top of that, IMC will not cut corners & use cheaper materials so our quality will remain unchanged.
4. Team Expansion
IMC/Teddy continues to expand our staff as we grow our operations. Between the factory & office, we have added 5 new members to the IMC/Teddy family since January. These individuals bring a wealth of experience & expertise to their respective fields.
We are happy to have them on board & we believe their experience will help bring IMC to the next level.
5. Updated Internal Systems
As we grow our personnel, we are also improving our administrative computer services to increase our productivity. We are in the process of replacing our accounting & customer relationship management software to a more streamlined service.
We are also updating our inventory software to keep better track of stock items in our factory. All of this is in an effort to facilitate our inventory for quick turnaround projects & alleviate the stress of your hot rush orders.
We are putting the finishing touches on the updated software integration & hope to be 100% operational by the end of the Fall. Stay tuned for more updates on this & what it means for you.
6. Dealer Visits
Of course, we are open anytime for visits. Johnson Lancaster graciously visited our facility earlier this year & the outcome was quite productive. In an age where Zoom has dominated meetings, there is nothing better than in-person interaction.
